Carly is a partner at Farella Braun + Martel. She represents clients in a variety of civil litigation and appellate matters, with an emphasis on complex breach of contract claims and California appeals. Her practice includes representing clients in California state and federal courts, as well as in ADR processes, including AAA, JAMS, and ICC arbitrations. Carly also has an interest in the corporate boardroom, and serves as a board member of Mammoth HR and also Berkeley Law’s Alumni Association. Her background as an NCAA Division I college athlete has made her a firm believer that success is a team effort.

Shanti Ariker is an attorney practicing for more than 20 years with experience working internationally and with high-growth companies and working with board of directors and executive management, managing and building teams and negotiating complex agreements. Shanti is Deputy General Counsel at Twilio. Prior to that, she worked as a senior lawyer at Autodesk and before that, she spent 3.5 years as General Counsel of Salesforce.org, the non-profit arm of Salesforce. Before that, at Salesforce, she managed a team of lawyers responsible for enterprise and commercial accounts in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. She started out in private practice.

Marina Gracias is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Varo Money, Inc. Prior to joining Varo, Marina was a Managing Director at Accenture. At Accenture, Marina was responsible for deal structuring and negotiating contracts in financial services.

Prior to joining Accenture, Marina was the Head of Global Sourcing/Chief Procurement Officer for Visa globally. Marina has also served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Providian Financial in both business and legal roles including heading Strategic Sourcing and other Corporate functions and providing legal advice and transactional support for Providian’s former credit card and deposit businesses in the United States, United Kingdom and Argentina. Marina worked extensively in the merger and acquisition area internationally.

Prior to joining Providian, Marina was with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe. She received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley Law School and her M.B.A. and B.S. from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. She is currently serving on the Executive Education Board of UC Berkeley, the Advisory Board of Bizworld and the Women in-house Support Equality (WISE) Board.

Shannon Yavorsky is a U.S., Irish, and English law qualified attorney who counsels clients on a broad range of U.S. and European data privacy and security issues, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), cross-border data transfer, data breaches, and global privacy compliance. She has significant experience with model contract clauses, privacy policies, website terms and conditions, data processing agreements, and advising clients on self-certifying to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks. She advises multinational clients across industry sectors, with an emphasis on advertising, healthcare, and automotive. Shannon regularly advises on an array of privacy and security laws and regulations, including the GDPR, CCPA, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), California's Financial Information Privacy Act (CalFIPA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act, and state data breach notification obligations.
